How does it work?

You will be tested at the start and end of your training blocks using "The Next Competitors" proprietary scoring system. This will generate your Competitors' Hybrid Score.


You are assessed on 5 metrics  organised into three performance pillars:


2 Lower Body Tests (Pick 2)

- Romanian Deadlift or Conventional Deadlift, Back Squat or Hack Squat.

2 Upper Body Tests 

 - Bench Press, Pull Up

1 Endurance Test (Pick 1)

- 5km or 10km Run

- Bachelor's of Physical Education Degree at the  University of Otago (4 years).

 Experience

- 12 years coaching, 9 years as a strength and conditioner.

- 4 years in the Men's National Premier League (NPL) in football and futsal.

- Won an NPL title in futsal.

- Invited to trial for New Zealand in futsal.
